The Fall of Wallace Winter Musician's Platform (Fall 2015)
Directed by Ross Fleming
In this project I collaborated with the Technical Director and Scenic Designer to create a twelve foot tall platform that could hold five band members. This platform was feature in the University of Texas at El Paso's Fall 2015 Studio show The Fall of Wallace Winter, and remained for the fundraising production of Bloody Shakespeare (Fall 2015). On this project I did a full set of Technical Drawing, once those were approved I lead a team of three people in the cutting of the 4x4, 2x2, and 1x2 steel tubing. Due to power and space limitations this was constructed in five parts then assembled in the space. I was also the sole welder on the project.
Esperanza Rising Flying Bed (Spring 2015)
In this project I collaborated with the Technical Director and Scenic Designer to create a sandbag style auxiliary line set to fly a bed. This flying bed was feature in the University of Texas at El Paso's Spring 2015 main stage show Esperanza Rising. On this project I assisted in the placement of a temporary head block, and two temporary loft blocks, as well as the creation of a steel basket to hold the required weight.
